You can employ yourself as an independent contractor and set up your own firm that provides electronics installation and repair or work for a consulting company that provides installation and services to corporations and companies that require an electronics installer on certain construction and technology implementation projects. Knowledge in quality control is also important, as working in this field will require you to perform integrity checks and draft recommendations for the safety and viability of electronic equipment when it comes to use and warranty. You will also perform the role of a facilitator, training entry level facilities personnel on basic electronic installation and troubleshooting or create how-to guides on the use and troubleshooting of specific electric equipment for clients.
